What are your practices that help you enhance your life?

Outside of my work as a massage therapist, I believe in maintaining a lifestyle that supports balance, mindfulness, and overall wellness. I incorporate meditation into my daily life as a way to cultivate presence, clarity, and a deeper connection with myself. Spending time in nature through hiking allows me to recharge, reconnect, and find grounding through movement and the natural world. I also prioritize nourishing my body with a healthy, intentional diet that supports my energy, vitality, and well-being. These practices not only enhance my own life but also influence the way I approach my work—bringing a sense of mindfulness, compassion, and balance into every session with my clients.

Jamie Marie Salvagne is a licensed massage therapist with a diverse background in therapeutic and wellness-focused bodywork. Her journey into massage began with a passion for helping others and a desire to understand the body through a deeper, more intuitive approach. While studying medical massage in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jamie discovered a connection to Hawaiian bodywork that led her to the Big Island, where she continued her education at Aloha Massage Academy in Kealakekua, Hawaii, studying under Angela Leese and becoming licensed in Hawaii in 2019.

Since beginning her practice in 2017, Jamie has continued to expand her knowledge and experience across multiple states, including Hawaii, Indiana, and New Mexico. Her work has included collaborating alongside chiropractors and physical therapist in an integrated health setting, building a private client base, and working within wellness environments that combined massage therapy with other holistic services. She has also worked in various spa settings in Hawaii, continuing to refine her skills and develop a well-rounded approach to bodywork.

Jamie’s training includes lomi lomi, medical massage, sports massage, Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping therapy, hot stone therapy, and relaxation-focused massage. She believes every body tells a different story and creates customized sessions based on each client’s unique needs—whether the goal is pain relief, improved mobility, recovery support, stress reduction, or simply creating space for relaxation and restoration.

Her approach blends therapeutic knowledge with an intuitive, nurturing touch, allowing clients to feel supported, cared for, and connected throughout their healing journey.

Why does Holistic wellness matter?

My journey into holistic wellness was inspired by a deep desire to understand the connection between the body, mind, and overall well-being. I was drawn to massage therapy because I saw the powerful impact that intentional touch, presence, and compassionate care can have on a person’s healing journey. Over the years, I have witnessed how my work can create meaningful change—helping clients release physical tension, find relief from discomfort, reduce stress, and reconnect with their bodies. Being able to provide a space where people feel cared for, supported, and restored has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My passion for holistic wellness continues to grow as I see the positive transformations that happen when we take time to nurture ourselves as a whole.

Interests & Hobbies

Outside of my work, I enjoy embracing life through travel, adventure, and spending quality time with the people and animals I love. Exploring new places allows me to experience different cultures, connect with nature, and create lasting memories. I especially enjoy sharing life’s moments with my dog Ono, who is always by my side for walks, outdoor adventures, and everyday companionship. Time with my family is something I deeply value, whether we are gathering together, exploring new experiences, or simply enjoying each other’s company. I’m always seeking opportunities for fun, growth, and adventure—finding joy in the simple moments and staying connected to the world around me.
